The rain and your pretty face

It was the last Friday of August
Your little face wet from the storm of love
You run to my side with your flowery dress
Glued to your body matching the rain

It rains and my soul is wet for you, pretty woman
How can I forget you in this afternoon of so many afternoons?
The afternoon smells of the perfume of your skin and I breathe you deep
The avenue is flooded with flags that flutter upon your arrival

Let the night be long that is wet with love
May this storm drown us, with your prolonged heartbeat?
Let the white sheets discover your body
And my dreams of love come true this day

The rain expresses everything, all my feelings lived
It rains this afternoon so remembered by my brown heart
This afternoon I went out to kiss your wet lips
Come love that the storm makes us laugh with love

Statues greet us it's six on the clock
The cold wind throws us some yellow leaves
Carpeting your way, in the summer of this great city
The afternoon trembles in your arms, southern woman

My eyes follow you and dance with the rhythm of your steps
My heart in love looks at you and you look at me full of love
The rain brings me all that smell of bodies in heat
You are all wet and the rain lulls us with love

It rains in my day and my soul is celebrating for your kisses
The rain wets us, wakes us up, you give us those deep kisses
Lightning strikes from the dark sky followed by thunder
Kiss me; my skin is sweaty from the rain of my August day.

This afternoon I want to do what the rain did to you.
