The Solitary Carnation

In the end I ended up being a dream, tacky at midnight
The carnation was broken, with the immense desire of your body
I listened to your steps and your voice, full of bleeding lies
And my heart panted in amazing silence, asking for peace

Tomorrow I'll raise my left fist hitting the air in a bell shape
The blood will bubble, on the stone between tears and tears of goodbye
I swear that the carnation petals won't die from your unexpected departure
I will stay with the stems embedded in my veins forever

Cursed and I curse the days that came, to see the heart bleed
With wounded eyes I walked the same streets, of this bad love
The face changed by your contempt, of not letting me see, the light of love
My feet and hands filled the sidewalks looking for my steps from the past

The carnation feels a deep throb and its pride is fading
Damn all those days that my heart was burning with passion
Scratching the night on the brink of death since your departure
Sleepwalker finds himself without a remedy to calm his anguished heart

Hungry for love he stayed, the carnation full of fleeting memories
Between a deep and wet hole, that no longer lets it bloom
Yet despite so much pain you get close to the bloody earth
Looking for life to perfume my body and my room

You stabbed it with an arrow, cutting off its petals by the roots
Desperate to death I bleed, with its aching flower
The roots could no longer breathe and their leaves will fall at night
I was immobile watching my carnation full of life, how it was withering

My sore eyes fluttered from side to side watching you go
Woman of mine and far away, your butterfly fed on my last honey
I am the carnation that is left alone galloping on your waist
Without finding refuge in your body, trembling with love
